Become a Youth Care Worker with Montreal Lake Child and Family Agency Inc. in Prince Albert, focusing on youth aged 18-26 transitioning from care. This role emphasizes supporting First Nations individuals in a culturally sensitive way.

The contract position is for one year and requires a person with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or relevant experience in human services. In this role, you will manage cases and ensure compliance with relevant legislation while aiding Indigenous youth in navigating adulthood successfully.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide planning and coordination for youth aging out of care
• Promote safety and well-being for Indigenous young adults
• Understand and comply with legislation surrounding child welfare




• Work collaboratively with community partners for coordinated support
• Deliver culturally informed case management practices

Requirements:
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Human Services
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and traditions
• Familiarity with the Child Youth and Family Services Act
• Hands-on experience with youth transitioning from care

Support Indigenous youth in their journey toward independence at the Montreal Lake Child and Family Agency.
