Key Responsibilities
AI Development: Design/validate deep learning models (CNNs, Transformers) for ultrasound cancer detection.
Clinical Integration: Incorporate zonal anatomy, multi-focal presentations, and Gleason features into model design.
Data & Compliance: Manage clinical repositories (1,000+ patients) ensuring REB compliance across multi-source datasets.
Deployment:
Implement real-time clinical overlays and automated segmentation tools for clinical workflows.
Required Qualifications
Education: Ph.D. in BME, CS, Medical Physics, EE, or related field.
Technical AI: Experience in deep learning, computer vision, and medical image analysis (Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
Imaging: Fluency in ultrasound principles; experience with micro-ultrasound.
Soft Skills: Strong publication record and ability to communicate complex findings to interdisciplinary audiences.
Software Engineering: Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) for team-oriented code management.
Image Processing: Experience with advanced image pre-processing, registration, and segmentation techniques to improve AI model robustness.
