The BC Centre for Ability seeks a dedicated Physiotherapist for its Early Intervention Therapy program, working with children in homes and clinics. Make a meaningful impact by promoting participation in daily routines.
This temporary position runs from August 17, 2026, until March 27, 2027. You will conduct assessments, implement therapeutic programs, and collaborate closely with families and interdisciplinary teams. Robust communication and organizational skills will enable effective interactions in diverse settings, including virtual platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate motor abilities affecting movement and participation
• Educate families using a coaching approach in therapy
• Apply Evidence Based Practice to clinical reasoning
• Help families with obtaining therapy equipment
• Collaborate with caregivers in educational settings
Requirements:
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
• Experience with pediatric populations preferred
• Training in Brief Action Planning is beneficial
• Competency in virtual platforms and electronic records
• Registration with CHCPBC required
