Join Hudbay Minerals as a Driller at our Copper Mountain Mine in Princeton, BC, working on a 7x7 rotation. You will play an essential role in maintaining safety and efficiency in mining operations.

The Driller will report directly to the Drill and Blast Supervisor and will be responsible for the safe handling of drilling equipment. This position demands a self-motivated individual able to thrive in various weather conditions while ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:
• Promote safety by adhering to workplace policies
• Execute drilling parameters as instructed
• Ensure equipment is properly set up and maintained




• Change drill bits and perform basic maintenance
• Follow additional directives from department supervisors

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Competency in various drill equipment operations
• Class 5/7N driver’s license is mandatory
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions
