The Development Services division within Halton Region is recruiting a Project Manager to lead significant infrastructure initiatives. This permanent role focuses on the oversight of water and wastewater system approvals while adhering to a strategic $5 billion investment over the next decade. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of quality services to the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the main contact for engineers during approvals
• Approve external reports related to development proposals
• Liaise with Regional Legal Services for agreements
• Review planning applications for service adequacy
• Monitor development applications to prevent capacity issues
Requirements:
• Civil Engineering background or equivalent required
• At least four years of experience in municipal systems
• Familiarity with environmental assessment processes
