As a driller with Pomerleau's civil engineering & infrastructure team, you will work closely with all workers to ensure coordination of the work. Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion - you'll have the prospect to support the skilled team and help ensure that work is carried out to specifications.

What You Will Do

- Prepare and carry out drilling operations, as well as set up, dismantle and transport drilling materials and equipment;
- Establish and determine areas to be blasted according to established plans;
- Handle equipment in compliance with safety regulations;
- Ensure proper operation of pumps;
- Inspect blasting sites before and after operations to assess conditions and results;
- Work as part of a team, maintaining a pleasant and trusting work environment,



communicating effectively with colleagues and other shifts on site;
- Perform regular maintenance on blasting and drilling equipment;
- Perform all other related tasks.

This Role Is Made For You If You Have

- A valid CCQ occupation card
- ASP Construction & WHMIS 201 card
- A valid Class 5 driver's license
- General explosives permit
- DEP in blasting or drilling
