Working temporarily until December 2026, you will report to the Director of Care and play a vital role in an interdisciplinary team. Your responsibilities include assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and providing leisure education that fosters a supportive environment for enhancement. Leadership is key to achieving positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess clients’ recreational and leisure needs thoroughly
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans and activities
• Coordinate and provide therapeutic recreation programs




• Oversee the work of support staff and volunteers
• Uphold the standards set by the Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy or a related field
• Must have active ATRA registration and CPR certification
• Preferred experience of 3 years in recreation therapy
• Broad experience with various client populations is advantageous
• Leadership skills to cultivate effective team environments
