As a Home Care Manager for Beaverlodge and Spirit River, you’ll take on a leadership role where your experience and steady presence make a real difference. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, ALA currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Description
The Home Care Manager performs a leadership role in Seniors Health and reports directly to the Area Manager, Seniors Health. This position is responsible and accountable for providing the direction, team leadership and organization over the activities of Seniors Health within a specific area(s) in support of the vision, mission and business plan of Assisted Living Alberta.



The position is responsible and accountable for making front line unit-level decisions and having direct leadership responsibility for contributing to the achievement of the goals of Seniors Health. The Home Care Manager, Seniors Health will develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders and demonstrate the leadership competencies of the Manager Competency Profile.

Vehicle Requirement: Driver's License, Vehicle Required

Required Qualifications
Registered Health Care Professional, RN preferred. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications
Baccalaureate Degree. If applicants with a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing are not suitable, applicants with a diploma in nursing and 3 years recent experience in Home Care, Long Term Care or Acute Care may be considered. 3-5 years in a health care provider role and a minimum of 1 year working in a leadership capacity.
