Become a pivotal part of our construction projects as a Steel Coatings Controller on the evening shift. Your role will focus on precision and quality in coating applications.
We are on the lookout for a Controller who can expertly handle the painting of steel components and follow project-specific coating instructions. The candidate should demonstrate manual dexterity and have a solid grasp of quality control processes. You will monitor equipment pressure and report any issues that may arise during the job.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and mix coatings for application
• Apply coatings per detailed project instructions
• Monitor and adjust spray equipment settings
• Conduct touch-ups and repair as needed
• Report defects and non-conformities to the foreman
Requirements:
• Familiarity with overhead cranes and steel industry
• Bilingual in French and English preferred
• Solid organizational and analytical skills
• Self-motivated and dynamic in approach
• Commitment to quality practices and procedures
