At the Student Wellness Centre, you will engage with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students by providing assessments, crisis intervention, and culturally relevant support. Your contributions will not only foster student wellness but also enhance academic success through comprehensive care and outreach initiatives. You’ll be tasked with supervising student trainees and developing a positive and supportive environment across campus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive intake interviews and mental health assessments
• Deliver psychotherapy in individual, couple, and group formats
• Manage caseloads while adhering to skilled standards
• Collaborate with other campus services for enhanced student support
• Draft and maintain accurate clinical documentation
Requirements:
• A master’s degree in psychology, education, or social work
• Seven years of extensive clinical experience in psychotherapy
• Expertise in crisis intervention and risk assessment
• Knowledge of Indigenous culture and counseling methodologies
• High attention to detail and effectiveness in collaboration
