Drive AI risk management and governance as a consultant with a hybrid work model in Toronto. This role requires 5+ years of experience and expertise in responsible AI strategies.

As a contractor for this 12-month position, you will operationalize AI governance aligned with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and integrate findings from independent assessments into actionable standards. Your collaboration with diverse teams will focus on implementing robust AI governance controls across departments such as Technology, Risk, and Compliance. This role emphasizes aligning stakeholders to ensure effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operationalize AI standards and controls using NIST framework
• Develop, implement, and maintain governance procedures




• Facilitate sustainable cross-departmental AI governance
• Translate AI risks into actionable control expectations
• Monitor project deliverables with the Project Manager

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in IT, computer science, or similar
• Certifications in AI governance preferred
• Expertise in technology governance frameworks
• Familiarity with GRC platforms beneficial
• 8+ years in risk management and governance
