Make a difference at the Royal Ottawa as a Psychologist for the Operational Stress Injury Clinic, dedicated to veterans and authorities. Deliver specialized assessments and interventions for work-related mental health issues.
This temporary full time role focuses on providing evidence-based psychological services for clients coping with stress and trauma-related disorders. You'll be responsible for conducting diagnostic assessments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and developing individualized treatment strategies to aid recovery. Community liaison and program development are also key components of your work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform evidence-based diagnostic assessments
• Interpret psychological assessment results
• Facilitate individual and group therapy
• Engage in program evaluation and improve quality
• Consult with external agencies for client needs
Requirements:
• CPA/APA accredited Clinical Psychology doctorate
• Eligible for registration with Ontario College of Psychologists
• 5+ years clinical experience in mental health
• Proven skills in evidence-based treatment protocols
• Demonstrated communication and mentoring capabilities
