Enhance community mental health support as a Clinician in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Fraser Health. This role focuses on assessment, treatment planning, and community engagement.
As part of the Child & Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatry Clinics, you will provide multidisciplinary mental health services tailored to children and their families. Your responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments and treatment sessions while collaborating with community resources to ensure effective service delivery. You will play a vital role in program development and community education regarding mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive assessments to understand client needs
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual and family therapy using various techniques
• Develop educational workshops for professionals and community partners
• Keep accurate clinical and statistical documentation
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in a relevant health discipline
• Two years of experience in child and adolescent mental health
• Eligible for registration with related qualified associations
• Reliable transportation with a valid BC Driver's License
• Understanding of child and adolescent mental health issues
