Key Responsibilities:
• Quickly engage with unfolding breaking news stories
• Generate and pursue compelling story ideas for audio
• Book interviews and organize program content
• Write and vet scripts while editing audio/visuals
• Liaise with technical teams for smooth broadcasts

Requirements:
• Two years of related newsroom experience
• Solid community connections within the GTA
• Excellent attention to detail and communication
• Ability to adapt to varying shifts
• Valid driver’s license meeting CBC standards
