Reporting to the Health and Hygiene Supervisor, you will provide crucial emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses. This role emphasizes health monitoring, patient education, and assistance with WSIB claims. The RPN will also be responsible for various assessments, including respirator fit testing and maintaining essential records systematically.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing services and document activities
• Offer emergency nursing care as first responder
• Conduct individual health monitoring and teaching
• Schedule employees for required medical assessments
• Maintain accurate medical filing and computer records
Requirements:
• Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Essential nursing experience required
• Capacity to handle confidential information
• Quick and calm response to emergencies
• First Aid and Audiometry certification willing to be provided
