As an Outreach Clinical Counsellor, you will be integral to the Equally Secure initiative, helping diverse individuals navigate their struggles related to family violence. You will employ various therapeutic methods to stabilize clients and encourage healthy coping strategies. Collaboration with various community partners, including law enforcement, ensures comprehensive support for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide evidence-based counselling to varied clientele
• Implement trauma-informed care strategies in sessions
• Conduct risk assessments and develop personalized plans
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams for support
• Maintain accurate case notes and documentation
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a related field required
• At least 2 years of experience in family violence support
• Understanding of mental health challenges and recovery
• First Aid certificates within 3 months of hire
• Must pass Police Information Check
