In this contract position within the Cybersecurity and Risk Management Branch, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining cybersecurity across complex enterprise systems. Your tasks will include monitoring incidents, investigating security events, and supporting privileged access management. Collaborating with different teams, you will help enhance cybersecurity processes and promote security awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to and analyze cybersecurity incidents promptly
• Perform network traffic analysis to identify compromises
• Support firewall administration and secure access controls
• Conduct packet capture analysis and investigations
• Prepare documentation and operational reports
Requirements:
• Proven experience in cybersecurity operations
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar platforms
• Hands-on knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement
• Must work 100% onsite in Regina
