TC Energy is looking for an EIC Technician in Cranbrook, BC, to support natural gas operations with your skills in electrical and instrumentation controls. This role emphasizes safety and efficiency.
As part of the Glacier Valley Area team, you will effectively manage and maintain gas compression and auxiliary systems. This position requires robust analytical and troubleshooting capabilities alongside expertise in control systems. You will also ensure that all operations adhere to regulatory standards while leading projects for operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair compressor and turbine systems
• Troubleshoot auxiliary equipment including HVAC
• Install software for control systems
• Complete safety checks and regulatory compliance
• Mentor junior technicians as needed
Requirements:
• High School Diploma
• 5 years of related industry experience
• Journeyman Red Seal Electrician certification
• Familiarity with CMMS and SAP systems
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting
