The Manager, External Financial Reporting, reports directly to the Head of External Financial Reporting. You will be at the forefront of consolidating quarterly and annual financial statements while mentoring a high-performing team. Your responsibilities include auditing collaboration, technical accounting review, and enhancing reporting quality through industry benchmarking. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to adapt reporting processes as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee consolidated financial statement preparation in alignment with IFRS
• Produce and review quarterly Management's Discussion and Analysis
• Advise on financial variances and accounting matters
• Review complex transactions for IFRS compliance
• Manage auditor relationships for effective audits
Requirements:
• CPA designation or equivalent; extensive reporting background
• Minimum 5 years in public accounting or related roles
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools
• Proven process improvement experience
• Familiarity with US GAAP is beneficial
