Become a key player in Hydro Ottawa as the Asset Management Leadership head, focusing on strategic engineering standards and asset lifecycle optimization in a hybrid format. This role is essential for ensuring system resilience and safety.

In this position, you will report to the Director of Distribution Engineering & Asset Management. You'll lead a dedicated team of engineers, defining technical standards while managing budgets and optimizing maintenance strategies. You will also play a pivotal role in aligning corporate practices with ISO 55000 standards and navigating complex regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop engineering supervisors and engineers
• Ensure integration of standards with asset management strategies




• Oversee engineering authority and equipment approvals
• Conduct budget management for operational resources
• Predict equipment risks through advanced health indexing

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
• Ontario Professional Engineer license required
• Minimum five years of leadership experience
• Asset management knowledge preferred
• Robust skills in collaboration tools, preferably Google Workspace
