ARAG Legal Solutions is searching for a Financial Operations Accountant to support their financial landscape from Toronto and remotely. This key role emphasizes accounts payable processing, reconciliations, and comprehensive financial analysis.

As a critical team member reporting to the Financial Operations Manager, you will manage essential accounting functions and strengthen relationships with business stakeholders. Your experience with financial operations will contribute to ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with finance policies, thus enhancing overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance in accounts payable transactions
• Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes




• Review client reports and resolve discrepancies
• Process bordereaux reports and maintain internal controls
• Support audit preparation and documentation

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, or similar
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems is advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office 365
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
