The role of the candidate will be to: Provide clinical, professional and managerial leadership to nursing staff within the Emergency Department supporting the achievement of organisational and directorate objectives and quality standards.
The post holder will be a credible leader and have a consistent approach to supporting the clinical teams in the delivery and achievement of high-quality compassionate care.
In partnership with the Chief/Associate Chief Nurse, Clinical Service Manager, General Manager and wider teams, you will deliver Directorate plans ensuring person-centred care is at the forefront of all decision making whilst simultaneously driving quality initiatives and financial efficiency across the Directorate.
The Lead Nurse must demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills, ensuring robust governance processes in place to support the delivery and assurance of excellent person-centred care.

This post will be based within The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with the expectation of attending the New Victoria MIU.
