IRIS is seeking a Full time Optometrist to work 3-5 days each week in our Nanaimo locations. Candidates must have a current Canadian or USA Optometry License and the flexibility for Monday to Saturday shifts. Our model prioritizes collaborative care between Optometrists and Opticians, ensuring comprehensive patient service at every exam.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough eye examinations for diverse patients
• Work closely with Opticians to manage patient care
• Customize availability based on scheduling agreements
• Guide patients on eye health and preventive care
• Keep detailed and accurate records of patient interactions
Requirements:
• Active Canadian or USA Optometry License
• Willingness to work on various weekdays
• Proven experience in patient-focused care
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
