The Department of Fisheries, Rural Development, and Tourism is seeking a Marine Fisheries Manager. You'll guide research initiatives on PEI’s lobster fishery, ensuring effective conservation strategies and collaboration with industry partners. This role requires extensive field research experience and the ability to analyze complex data for informing management decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead research on lobster biology and ecology
• Manage field research projects and data analysis
• Collaborate with industry partners and government agencies




• Develop and oversee an annual budget for the section
• Ensure compliance with safety and health protocols

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or equivalent experience
• Extensive supervisory and field research experience
• Strong knowledge of marine species and fisheries
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
