Invinity is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for its Unit Cell R&D; team to lead advancements in vanadium flow battery technology. In this role, you will translate complex engineering requirements into effective designs while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to optimize product durability and cost-efficiency. Your hands-on experience and technical knowledge will drive the innovation of energy storage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and develop unit cell and stack designs
• Select materials in conjunction with engineering experts
• Improve production processes, including plastic welding
• Define specs and oversee prototype development
• Conduct testing to assure component reliability
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years in mechanical development, focusing on energy technologies
• Expertise in advanced CAD modeling
• Solid foundations in mechanical analysis and manufacturing
• Eligible to work in Canada
