The Department of Anthropology is seeking a full-time, tenure stream Assistant Professor focused on early hominins. Successful candidates will have a PhD and significant contributions to research and exceptional teaching credentials in qualitative and quantitative anthropology methods. A strong emphasis on diversity and community engagement will enrich student experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive research initiatives on early hominins with innovative methods
• Deliver engaging courses on quantitative anthropology
• Support and mentor students in research and coursework
• Develop and maintain a funded research agenda
• Participate in departmental governance and community outreach
Requirements:
• Earned PhD in Anthropology or related discipline by start date
• Demonstrated excellence in research and teaching
• Solid publications in relevant academic journals
• Evidence of fostering an inclusive learning environment
• Commitment to mentoring students from diverse backgrounds
