We are hiring a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Stepdown team at Burnaby Hospital. This role focuses on delivering direct patient care by assessing needs and implementing nursing interventions. You’ll collaborate with an interprofessional care team to ensure quality health services during the hospital's redevelopment phases.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed patient assessments and nursing diagnoses
• Collaborate with families on care plans and encourage participation
• Manage nursing tasks and coordinate with support staff




• Provide health education and support to patients and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in committees

Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with BCCNM registration
• Relevant postgraduate education or equivalent experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Capacity to meet physical demands of nursing tasks
