As an integral part of our nursing home team, the Activity Worker is responsible for organizing and delivering enriching activities suitable for residents' social and recreational interests. You will interact directly with residents, ensuring their preferences are prioritized in program planning. This position requires flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement recreational activities tailored to residents
• Maintain thorough assessments and charting for each resident




• Manage supplies and ensure equipment is in good condition
• Lead volunteer coordination and support their contributions
• Build and sustain robust relationships with residents and families

Requirements:
• Diploma in Therapeutic Recreation or equivalent training
• 1 year experience in therapeutic program delivery
• Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility in scheduling and tasks
