This full time, unionized position requires expertise in overhead and underground electric systems. As a critical part of the team, you’ll handle emergency call-outs and support community initiatives while conforming to all necessary safety codes. Strong communication skills and a commitment to workplace safety are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct and troubleshoot electric distribution systems
• Conduct live line work and restore power during outages
• Erect power line structures safely
• Train and mentor apprentices in trade
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Power Line Technician Certificate or equivalent
• Class DZ Driver’s license in valuable standing
• Knowledge of utility safety rules
• Ability to interpret work orders and schematics
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
