Help uphold justice as an Assistant Crown Attorney with the Ministry of the Attorney General in Ontario. Focused on public safety, you will actively prosecute criminal cases across various courts.

The Assistant Crown Attorney role is essential within the Criminal Law Division, handling prosecutions, motions, and appeals. Your legal knowledge and analytical skills will guide your responsibilities, addressing substantive and procedural requirements efficiently. A good standing with the Law Society of Ontario and an Ontario driver’s license are mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular prosecutions in courts and hearings
• Manage cases for productive criminal matter prosecution




• Support other counsel in research and prosecutions
• Educate stakeholders on legal protocols
• Stay informed on divisional initiatives and implement them

Requirements:
• Membership in good standing as a lawyer
• Valid Ontario “G” class driver’s license
• Experience in complex criminal litigation
• Knowledge of criminal law and procedures
• Strong communication and advocacy skills
