Be a cornerstone of Clutch's engineering evolution as a Senior Staff Platform Engineer. Your focus will be on architecting the internal platform that accelerates our engineering teams' ability to deliver exceptional products, all while working hybrid from our downtown Toronto office.
As Clutch's first dedicated Staff Platform Engineer, you will collaborate with senior leadership to craft the vision for a robust engineering platform. This role emphasizes building self-service tools, optimizing CI/CD processes, and fostering a culture of operational excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and lead Clutch’s Platform Engineering vision
• Develop tools that enhance developer efficiency
• Own the design and architecture of CI/CD workflows
• Create scalable AWS cloud solutions
• Standardize reusable infrastructure for security and observability
Requirements:
• Over 8 years in cloud infrastructure and platform engineering roles
• Technical expertise as a Staff Engineer or similar
• Advanced knowledge of AWS, Terraform, and contemporary CI/CD
• Strong software design expertise in relevant programming languages
• Ability to craft long-term organizational solutions
