Contribute to positive change as a Youth Worker focused on mental health support at PhoenixCenter. This casual, on-call opportunity centers on empowering youth and young adults.

As a Youth Support Worker in the Mental Health and Substance Use department, your role is crucial in providing essential support services to at-risk clients aged 17-24. You will coordinate activities and provide resources necessary for clients to thrive. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential in this position, ensuring clients receive holistic support tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support youth in accessing PhoenixCenter services
• Engage with young adults through activities and discussions
• Assist clients with personal needs and community involvement




• Maintain a protected and clean residence environment
• Document all client interactions and incidents accurately

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and relevant certification
• One year’s experience in community social services
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and good driving record
• Preferred certifications in First Aid and Food Safe
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
