The Electrician lays out, assembles, installs, tests, troubleshoots and repairs electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and related equipment in buildings and other structures. Ensure buildings are maintained in a safe and effective, code compliant manner. Education & Qualifications Valid Journeyperson Certificate in electrical trade Minimum of one (1) year experience as a journeyperson electrician A valid Class 5 driver's license Physical Requirements:
Good physical condition with the ability to do heavy work is required (i.e., exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 50 lbs. of force frequently,
and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects). The ability to work off lifts, in crawlspaces, attics, roofs, and ladders is required. Wage & Benefits:
In accordance with the current CUPE Local 5512 Collective Bargaining Agreement. Currently, this is a rate of $41.69 per hour.
