As a key member of our team, the Senior Power System Study Engineer will be responsible for conducting critical analysis on utility and renewable energy systems. You will apply your expertise with tools like CDEGS and WinIGS, along with creating exact models and detailed technical reports essential for project compliance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze grounding systems for grid resistance and voltage
• Conduct lightning protection studies and surge analyses
• Evaluate AC interference on overhead lines and pipelines
• Model and assess bus configurations for system performance
• Work closely with project managers and clients for standards compliance
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in relevant engineering discipline
• 3+ years in power system analysis, focusing on advanced studies
• Proficient in CDEGS with certification preferred
• Experience with WinIGS; additional software knowledge desired
• Understanding of HVDC and renewable technologies is an asset
