Step into a key leadership position as the IBNS Capability Lead at J.D. Irving, Limited. Focus on the Integrated Bridge Navigation System's lifecycle for the River Class Destroyer fleet.

In this role, you will manage technical details and program oversight, ensuring effective integration and testing of critical naval capabilities. You'll also collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams and subcontractors, impacting the future of naval operations in Canada. Your responsibilities will cover risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, and the management of engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage IBNS lifecycle activities and milestones
• Lead the engineering team and oversee performance
• Mitigate technical and program risks effectively




• Serve as the primary interface with stakeholders
• Support trials, integrations, and final acceptances

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Engineering and P.Eng. requirement
• Experience in ship systems and shipyard operations
• Solid navigation systems expertise
• Proven ship design and construction experience
• Ability to analyze and document complex systems
