As a Residential Care Worker, you will be a critical part of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to supporting adults facing addiction challenges. With a focus on client-centered service, you will facilitate educational sessions, conduct orientations, and respond to emergencies with poise. Your organizational skills and computer proficiency are essential in documenting interactions and maintaining supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct support to clients in various settings
• Facilitate client educational sessions and house meetings
• Document client interactions according to role requirements
• Manage facility security and housekeeping duties
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate care strategies
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• CPR-C and First Aid certification required
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs and IT applications
• Experience in addictions or related fields preferred
• Solid communication skills and empathy for clients
