Step into a pivotal role as Project Materials Manager at Babcock in Victoria, BC. This temporary position focuses on materials management, project performance, and stakeholder engagement to ensure project delivery.
In this role, you will manage a small team while supporting the Project Manager in various functional areas. You will be responsible for executing material management plans, monitoring project performance, and ensuring quality assurance standards are met. Collaborate with multiple teams to drive project success and identify improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a team and oversee health and safety compliance
• Manage material delivery timelines and project scope
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project targets are met
• Implement effective performance management tools
• Drive continuous improvement of project processes
Requirements:
• Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Project Management
• At least 6 years’ experience in major projects
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with quality control and ERP systems
• Eligible for Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
Contribute to defense and civil projects by effectively managing materials at Babcock.
