We are representing a world class, multi-billion dollar industrial manufacturing organization that, due their continued growth, is seeking to hire a Supply Chain Manager . Reporting to the VP/General Manager, this role will lead planning, materials, and logistics functions for a large, complex manufacturing site in West Michigan in addition to supporting other internal cost centers within North America. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the site’s planning, materials, and logistics teams, with accountability for execution, performance, and talent development

Own the master production scheduling process, ensuring alignment between customer demand, production capacity, material availability, and labor constraints

Drive demand and capacity planning processes, balancing long-range forecasts with short-term execution needs

Partner closely with Operations to address schedule attainment, throughput, bottlenecks, and production constraints

Serve as the primary interface between customers, manufacturing, and internal stakeholders on delivery commitments and schedule changes

Oversee inventory management strategies, including accuracy, turns, excess, and obsolescence reduction

Develop and track key performance indicators including OTD,



forecast accuracy, inventory metrics, and planning efficiency

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning discipline, process standardization, and waste reduction

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of supply chain, materials, or planning leadership experience within a manufacturing environment

Demonstrated experience owning or leading master scheduling and production planning functions

Solid understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and capacity planning principles

Experience leading and developing teams in fast-paced, operationally complex environments

Comfort working cross-functionally and influencing without direct authority

Willingness and ability to travel (
