Become a part of Acden Base Operators' Firebag team as a Heavy Duty Mechanic EVT. This fly in, fly out role in Fort Mackay focuses on the maintenance of emergency vehicles and heavy equipment.

In this position, you’ll be key in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining emergency and airport vehicles. A Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician certification and 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the field are required. You'll need proficiency in diagnosing mechanical issues and working efficiently with vendors for necessary parts and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out preventative maintenance on emergency and heavy equipment
• Diagnose critical equipment to ensure operational integrity
• Implement minor modifications and complete projects




• Document repairs and interpret various technical manuals
• Respond to emergencies related to equipment preservation

Requirements:
• Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician or equivalent
• Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience
• Certification as an Emergency Vehicle Technician
• Class 1 or Class 3 with Q endorsement is beneficial
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
