In this permanent role, you will lead skilled trades staff in maintaining transit buses and fleet vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will manage daily operations, work assignments, and compliance with legislation and MiWay standards. A valid 310T Truck and Coach certificate is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead day-to-day transit maintenance staff activities
• Assign tasks and manage maintenance personnel
• Schedule maintenance and create work orders
• Ensure adherence to safety and compliance regulations
• Support and coach staff on performance expectations

Requirements:
• Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician Certification
• Five years of relevant maintenance experience
• Leadership experience of three years preferred
• Heavy vehicle maintenance knowledge necessary
• Class G Driver’s Licence is required
