This part time position entails guiding first-year students in examining family through an interdisciplinary lens. Applicants must have a strong background in History, Sociology, or Psychology, and be prepared to work collaboratively with colleagues. The role emphasizes incorporating research and diverse subject matter while focusing on family contexts in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
• Co-teach and develop content for FMST1115 course
• Collaborate on curriculum and assignments with fellow instructors
• Implement teaching technologies like Brightspace effectively




• Conduct classes on Thursdays from 14:30-16:20
• Address themes related to diverse families and intersectionality

Requirements:
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a related field
• Demonstrated teaching experience in Canadian post-secondary settings
• Experience with team teaching environments
• Familiarity with online teaching tools
• Available from September through December 2026
