In this role, you will serve as an Officer of the Board, ensuring CAAWLS's financial integrity and sustainability. Collaborating closely with the Director of Operations, you'll oversee financial controls, compliance, and the budgeting process. Your leadership will enhance the organization's ability to deliver vital animal-assisted programs to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to the Board
• Oversee internal controls and accounting procedures




• Support compliance with statutory filings and audits
• Serve as Chair of the Finance Committee
• Provide insights for long-term financial planning and growth

Requirements:
• Qualified experience in finance or accounting
• Familiarity with non-profit financial reporting
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to mentor and guide Board members
• Commitment to confidentiality and fiduciary duties
