Join Ontario SPCA and help improve animal welfare as a licensed Veterinarian. This hybrid role combines telemedicine services with direct support at our animal centres across Ontario.

As an experienced Veterinarian, you will play a vital role in supporting both individual medical cases and population-based health programs. Collaborate with dedicated teams to ensure all animals receive the care they deserve. You will also participate in preventative health programs and work closely with the Medical Director to maintain high veterinary standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide medical and telemedicine support across several centres
• Collaborate on care strategies for animals in shelter and foster




• Assess animal health upon intake and during stays
• Monitor animal populations using dedicated software
• Implement shelter medicine protocols effectively

Requirements:
• Licensed in Ontario and in good standing with CVO
• Experience in shelter medicine is an asset
• Robust commitment to animal welfare practices
• High attention to detail with decision-making abilities
• Ability to travel to various Animal Centres as needed
