Negotiate, draft and review a variety of large-scale, complex and strategic agreements, including information technology contracts
Advise internal teams and act as a business partner on legal risks related to complex or strategic contractual matters
Anticipate business issues and propose cutting-edge legal solutions aligned with the company's objectives
Issue legal opinions for Beneva and its subsidiaries on complex matters related to operations and strategic objectives
Contribute to the oversight of external counsel and other specialists on high-stakes contractual matters and projects
Support the Director in coordinating matters and assigning requests
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and analyze the impact of changes on contractual activities
Participate in mandates or special projects requiring in-depth contractual expertise
Act as a contract subject-matter resource and contribute to the team's skills development
Requirements
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. or equivalent)
Member of the Barreau du Québec (Quebec Bar)
Minimum seven (7) years of relevant legal experience
Extensive experience in contract law and contract management
Knowledge and experience in information technologies
Proficiency in French,
both spoken and written
Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written
Ability to interact with English-speaking colleagues, partners, clients or suppliers
