Join our Team at Eckville Farm Centre! Are you dedicated to providing exceptional customer service? Are you detail-oriented with a hands-on approach? If so, the Eckville Home Centre presents the perfect opportunity for you! Join our team at the Eckville Farm Centre as a part time Yard Attendant.

Position: Yard Attendant

Part-time: 24 – 36 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends-mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service

Ensure equipment is operated in a safe and responsible matter

Keep yard and warehouse free of obstructions, debris, and snow and stack pallets as required

Operate hand and/or controlled forklifts

Prepare orders to ensure prompt delivery

Stock, face and rotate inventory following the First In, First Out (FIFO) process

Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications

Exceptional attention to detail and quality

Highly self-motivated

Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment

Outstanding customer service and communication skills

Team player with the ability to work independently

Valid Class 3 Licence with Air brake endorsement is an asset

Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire

Experience running a forklift is preferred

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required

Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required.)
