Become the voice for Indigenous health at Shared Health in Winnipeg as a Health Liaison. This full-time position emphasizes in-person collaboration and Indigenous health integration.

You will play a crucial role with experience working in health and social services, particularly with Indigenous clients. Understanding the unique challenges and cultural practices within Indigenous communities is essential for success in this role. Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and community stakeholders to enhance health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build relationships with community and health service partners
• Guide Indigenous clients through healthcare processes
• Utilize knowledge of cultural practices in healthcare settings




• Schedule and participate in strategic health meetings
• Facilitate virtual patient interactions as needed

Requirements:
• 3-5 years relevant experience in health or social services
• Minimum 2 years working directly with Indigenous communities
• Post-secondary qualification in health or social sciences
• Licensed member of a health regulatory body
• Leadership skills based on the LEADS framework
