Become the lead instructor for the Powerline Technician program at Southeast College in Weyburn. Utilize your extensive knowledge to train and mentor future technicians effectively.

This full-time role entails teaching Levels 1 through 4 of the Powerline Technician Apprenticeship Technical Training Program. Candidates must hold a Red Seal and have significant experience in powerline work, including AC/DC theory and line design. Your responsibilities include evaluating student progress and assisting in curriculum creation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive training in powerline technical skills
• Teach safety protocols and practical applications
• Regularly assess student outcomes and maintain records




• Develop curriculum content alongside faculty
• Demonstrate essential training skills effectively

Requirements:
• Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson for Powerline
• 5-10 years recent experience in powerline work
• Prior teaching or leadership experience beneficial
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and educational technologies
• Robust proficiency in teaching mathematical concepts
