In this full time role, you'll conduct detailed hearing assessments and create personalized care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. Recommend and fit advanced hearing aids while providing essential follow-up care and education on hearing loss. Your compassionate, patient-first approach will help strengthen community relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess hearing for adults and pediatric patients
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient goals
• Fit and program hearing aids for optimal performance
• Conduct real-ear verification and validate hearing aids
• Educate patients on hearing technology usage
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Audiology or equivalent degree
• Eligible for registration with the ACSLPA
• Registered or eligible for Hearing Aid Practitioner registration
• Experience in patient counselling and rehabilitation
• Strong documentation skills
