Facilitate transformative learning experiences as an Adult Educator, focused on Anishinaabe culture and effective curricula. This part time role runs from September to June, with potential for renewal.
You will be responsible for curriculum delivery as guided by the Ontario Education Act. Engage with students returning to education after a break, providing support and culturally relevant educational experiences. You'll contribute to planning, delivering, and assessing effective learning outcomes in collaboration with community partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement curriculum aligned with community values
• Support adult learners in achieving their goals
• Maintain daily lesson planning and documentation
• Track student progress and assess their achievements
• Organize community outreach and recruitment efforts
Requirements:
• Must hold an Ontario Teachers Certificate
• At least three years relevant teaching experience
• Qualification in the subject area required
• Vulnerable Sectors Check needed
• Manual dexterity for computer use
