As a Senior Financial Analyst in Sobeys’ Finance department, you’ll handle consolidated financial statements and legal entity reporting. Your role focuses on developing reports across various software platforms while ensuring compliance and efficiency. Collaborate closely with both internal teams and external auditors to achieve impactful financial outcomes each quarter.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to consolidated financial statements for board reviews
• Manage various reporting tools to enhance internal processes
• Assist in analyzing costs and reconciliations
• Collaborate on performance efficiencies with business partners
• Review debt covenants and pension financial statements
Requirements:
• 5+ years of relevant financial/accounting experience
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• Strong computer skills, particularly in SAP
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
